Getting Started

1. Open Excel or Word and click the Promptly AI button in the Home tab.
2. Enter your license key (format: PA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) and click Get Started.
3. Type your request in the chat box — for example, "Format this table" or "Calculate totals for column D".
4. The AI will execute the task directly in your spreadsheet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I get a license key?

License keys are provided upon purchase. Contact us at the email below if you need a new key or have trouble activating.

The add-in panel is blank or won't load

• Check your internet connection — the add-in requires online access.
• Try closing and reopening the add-in panel.
• Clear the Office cache: delete all files in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Wef and restart Excel/Word.

My license key is not accepted

• Make sure the key is in the correct format: PA-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX (letters and numbers, no spaces).
• Check that your subscription has not expired.
• Ensure you have an active internet connection for verification.

The AI made an error or unexpected changes

Use Ctrl+Z (Undo) immediately to revert changes. You can also click the Undo button in the result card that appears after each task.
